The word ‘Manor’ brings connotations of high prices and luxurious layouts, but what you’ll find in this North York neighbourhood is mostly bungalows, split-level homes, and modern Toronto condos, all selling for affordable prices; Bathurst Manor condos are particularly affordable.Bathurst Manor is a suburban neighbourhood in every way — streets are well laid out and it's obvious that the community was planned as opposed to one which naturally grew to become a collective. The area is dotted by parks and schools, all of which are spaced out to maximize neighbourhood access. This area has a large Jewish population, reflected in many synagogues and kosher restaurants.The neighbourhood is located in North York and bounded by several major roads — Sheppard Ave to the south, Bathurst St to the east, Finch Ave to the north, and Allen Rd and Dufferin to the west. Most business are located along Sheppard and Allen Rd but there are some on Bathurst and Finch as well; businesses in the area are manly in the service industry — restaurants, law firms, financial services, daycares, and so on.Entertainment options are family-focused; there’s Irving W.
