The Oaklands is another option for first time buyers, as it does have affordable 1 bedroom units.Summerhill condos vary in terms of amenities, though many buildings tend to offer only modest extras. Summerhill is certainly pedestrian friendly, especially for those living in Summerhill condos on Yonge and Avenue Rd.Streetcars on St. Clair Ave make it easy to travel east to west, and buses on Yonge and Avenue carry passengers north or south. For longer trips, residents can walk to Summerhill Station for subway lines. Car owners can go south on Yonge and then east on Bloor for the Don Valley Parkway.
